Precise machine positioning

Good assembly starts with geometry

We support the positioning stage with our own calculation tool, which helps organise the layout data and determine the points needed to set the machine up in the hall.

Every positioning point follows from specific dimensions, axes and relations recorded in the technical documentation. We analyse the machine's position relative to the hall structure, the neighbouring equipment and the run of the whole line, and then set out the reference points needed to mark out the workstation. As a result, even before the actual positioning begins, we know exactly where every key element of the machine should stand.

Scope of machinery

The machines and lines we work with

We install individual units and complete production lines in manufacturing plants, most often in the beverage and food industry. We work both on new installations and on extensions of lines that are already running on the shop floor.

  • Filling and bottling lines

    Fillers, bottle washers, pasteurisers, cappers and the equipment working alongside them, including alignment against the axis of the whole line and connection to the neighbouring machines.

  • Packaging and labelling

    Labellers, cartoners, wrappers and packaging machines. Installation covers the geometry of pack transport between units, which determines how stable the line runs later on.

  • Palletising and internal transport

    Palletisers, depalletisers, slat and belt conveyors, accumulation tables and buffers. How the conveyors are set decides whether the line will hold its designed throughput.

  • Supporting installations

    Support structures, platforms, utility piping and the supply of compressed air and process water. The elements without which a machine stands in place but does not run.

Preparation

What is worth preparing before assembly

Most delays on an assembly job do not come from the machine itself, but from what was missing around it. Below is what we ask about before the crew enters the hall. The earlier this is known, the shorter the downtime.

  • Documentation and hall layout

    Machine drawings, the positioning plan and the reference axes. We set out the marking points from them. Without a complete layout, the positioning has to be corrected once the unit is already seated.

  • Floor and foundation

    Load capacity, flatness and the anchoring method. Filling machines and palletisers transfer dynamic loads into the floor, so deviations that cause no trouble in a warehouse become a problem next to a line.

  • Utilities and connections

    Electrical supply, compressed air, process water and drainage, brought to the point where the machine will stand rather than merely close to it.

  • Access and internal transport

    Gate widths, clear height, permissible floor loading along the route, plus space for unloading and storing components before assembly.
